The idea of Career Navideer began as a conversation between me and my son when he was a sophomore in high school. I asked him did he know what he was going to be when he grew up. He replied he didn't know. I was very frustrated with that answer and asked him if he could describe how he wanted to live his life. He responded by describing the things he needed as an adult. This conversation allowed me to have a non-threatening discussion about his future and how math and science could impact it.
That was the spark that led to Career Navideer. As a parent I needed something to solve the challenge of communicating the link between current education and future aspirations.

Anthony DePass is a national leader in the area of STEM workforce development. He is Professor of Biology, Principal of DePass Academic Consulting, and Principal Investigator and Co-Director of Understanding Interventions that Broaden Participation in Science Careers. For over 25 years, he has developed, led, consulted and evaluated programs that have provided enrichment, training, and professional development for participants from middle school through postdoctoral education levels. This work also targets diversity and inclusion in the STEM workforce. Programs under DePass’s direct leadership have generated over $20 million in external funding from federal and state agencies and private foundations including the National Institutes of Health, the American Society for Cell Biology, and the National Science Foundation.
As Principal of DePass Academic Consulting, he leads a team that works with educational institutions (from K-12 through post-doctorate levels) in the areas of research, program development and evaluation, strategic planning, grantsmanship, and professional development. Dr. DePass earned B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut and the M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts–Amherst in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He completed his postdoctoral studies at the Yale University School of Medicine and has held adjunct positions at a number of institutions including that of Senior Lecturer at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

Paris Gamble is owner of PG Consulting, a provider of IT implementation and project management services for organizations that use Human Capital Management and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
As the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Lifestyle Learning, he developed the precursor to Career Navideer, the company’s career readiness software. The company reflects his longstanding interest in the intersection of STEM education and careers.
Mr. Gamble earned a M.S. in Management (with a minor Human Resources) from Southern Nazarene University and a B.S. in Liberal Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma.
